A full rewrite of Super Mario RPG that stars the Axem Rangers taking the place of the party in a sort of prequel to the original story.

  * Go through the game in "reverse" order, starting in Barrel Volcano and fighting your way back to the Mushroom Kingdom.
  * Slightly increased difficulty.
  * Reworked areas, bosses, and enemies.

**Don't Want to Read?**

A new storyline taking you through the world of Super Mario RPG as the Axem Rangers trying to rescue Axem Pink from Bowser. Run through areas like Barrel Volcano in the early game and work your way through the map in reverse with recolors and remixes of enemies, levels, and items.

  * Interesting seeing the world in a different format than you're used to.
  * While challenging, the main playthrough does not require grinding.
  *  New and "skipped" areas make the game feel fresh.

  * Glitches can bring down the experience, simple graphical glitches aren't a big deal, but I did have to reset a few times to fix a frozen battle.
  * The Bowser's Keep runthrough requiring you to do every door in a row without a break did cause me to stop the game right near the end. Doing all the battles in a row before getting distracted in an action or puzzle game only to have to start over again wasn't fun for me.
